This idyllic 18th century farm house B&B has 3 large guest bedrooms (1 x family room, 1 x twin room and 1 x king en-suite), a sitting room, dining room and games room, making it the ideal location to base your holiday or short break to explore Shropshire, Herefordshire and Mid Wales.
Sit and relax in the picturesque garden with a cup of tea and home-made cake and admire the views of Hopton Castle and village (2 minutes walk away). Yvonne and John's South Devon Cattle may raise their heads above the hedge to say 'hello' - in between grazing the surrounding fields and Shropshire hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Visit south Shropshire's foodie capital Ludlow (12 miles away) and the Walkers Are Welcome town of Church Stretton (14 miles). Shrewsbury, Shropshire's county town, is a must for shopping and the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge is an easy drive away. After a day's sight-seeing Upper House Farm B&B is a very peaceful place to retreat to, off the beaten track; just listen out for the birds, cows, sheep and occasional tractors working on the farm. It's also a fabulous location for star gazing.
